Brand identity + guidelines
Founded in 2009, now a small, 72-person studio with headquarters in Berkeley. JMS is independent, thinks differently, has diverse capabilities in skillset and background both in leadership and beyond. Proudly, not an agency. So, when it was time to update the branding there was lots of opinions and back and forth with creative directors, strategists, and the founder himself.
I had an idea to highlight the S in studio because that is what makes JMS special. The splash represents the source of creativity emerging.
